Yet another thing.

Last Saturday we went to a birthday party up the coast at Kincumber and began to realise how the years are slipping by as this was a friends 70th. It was at their retirement village which is complete with swimming pool, library, bowling green etc. Its not for me, no where to have a shed!

On the way home we called in at Beckys and of course that meant Alex wanted to come and stay. It wasn't a very nice Sunday, rather cold and overcast with just the occasional glimpse of the sun. To distract Alex from digging holes every where or filling the compost bin with water from the rain butt, I suggested that we build a trailer for his bike.



Its amazing what you can do with an old milk crate, a pair of wheels and a few bits of wood or steel. His bike is getting too small so I will have to start work on a bigger one I have hidden away in the shed. This one will be for Ben next.



The other thing that is fad of the month, are hand written signs on everything. I think Alex has used up a big role of sticky tape in the last couple of weeks. Every door to every room is named, in fact you dare not stand still for too long or he will stick a label on you.

I had forgotten how inventive little minds can be!!!
