A very nice sunny morning again. After a slow breakfast we booked out of the hotel and put our cases in to storage as we weren't leaving until late morning.
We walked up to one of Di's favourite shops, the Design Centre and bought various little gifts to take home. We bought some Marameko print tea towels and made another discovery. We had lived for many years under the impression that Marameko was Danish, not Finish!!
We went back to the hotel and picked up our cases but when we arrived at the station there was a lot of confusion on the platform about our train. The train we finally caught was not the X2000 but a local train that just took us back into Sweden as far as Malmo. Again much confusion and walking between platforms for everyone in Malmo. Apparently there had been a huge electrical outage some where in Sweden that had thrown the whole system down. We were 40 minutes late leaving and although we were now on the X2000 we never made up the time and arrived back in Stockholm still 40 minutes behind schedule. The end of a great trip.
