We had a very good nights sleep and didn't wake until 0830. It was dull outside but as we were having breakfast the sun started to come out.
With an apartment full of books, we sat around reading for too long. Jim phoned and walked round from his office so that we could go and have fika. We had a nice coffee but also came across a butchers shop. The shop is called Taylors and Jones, the Taylor being an Irish butcher and the Jones being a Welsh chef but we were served by a Canadian girl.

I really should have taken some photos of this shop and its produce, fantastic! The shop is actually below road level and the first thing we noticed was the aromas wafting up from below. The Cornish Pasties were to die for! We ordered a load of meat and a couple of big pies, to be picked up on Saturday, when we go back to Elin and Jims.
Jim went back to work and we continued our stroll around the local area. Di was also looking for a hairdressers but most were busy and couldnt fit her in.
On the left, under the red canopy is an Italian restaurant called Dolce Vita, more of that later.
Looking back towards City Hall.
Self explanatory I hope.
We finally got Di booked in to have her done later in the afternoon so she went back to have a rest and I wondered into the city. Its a lovely city to walk around.
The cast iron spire of Riddarholmskyrkan.
The beautiful coloured buildings surrounding Pump Square.
Sentry outside the Royal Palace.
Changing the Guard outside the Royal Palace.
When I got back to the apartment we went for Di's hairdressing appointment. It cost a fortune and was done by a Lebanese bloke who could hardly speak English. The colour was all wrong, too dark, so not a very happy event.
