A nice sunny day but with a cool breeze.
Somewhere in this block of apartments there is someone playing classic music on the piano. Its a lovely background sound.
We went around the corner and picked up our meat and pie order from Taylor and Jones. Di stayed in reading while I had a walk into the city again.

The spillway to the left of Riksdagshuset.
Fishermen netting for salmon to the right of the Riksdagshuset.
Looking across at Af Chapman from Gamla Stan.
The big lock gates at Slussen, between Lake Malaren and the sea.
Boats waiting in the lock.
The Lock Keeper.
Slussen looking towards Stadsgardsleden. Another area that I look at via webcam.
Gamla Stan.
Royal Palace guard.
A very old telephone box in Gamla Stan.
St.George and the Dragon. It seems that every country has one.
Some of the beautiful narrow streets on Gamla Stan.
After the parade.
Sergelstorg from Master Samuelsgaten.
When I got back to the appartment we packed ready to move back to Elin and Jims. Its been great staying here, thanks to some very nice people who thought it all out. The return trip took some effort as not only did we have our clothes and bed linen to carry but now, what felt like a tonne of meat. We found our way down to the local Tunnelbanan and rode the rails back to Sundbyberg.
David came round for a very nice dinner followed by a night cap.
