Success!!

Fantastic, just checked and the last blog is up and on show. After a couple of weeks trying to sort it out, its a relief to see that everything is working again. Thanks family nerds!

As the weather is now getting warmer, a couple of weeks ago we decided to take Alex for a walk around the Olympic Park site at Homebush. Actually I wanted to get some nice shots of the water fountains at the end of Olympic Drive. We thought that Alex would like the water but he was very unsure of the noise and the water over spray, and wouldn't get close enough to appear in the photos.

Hanging on very tightly to Nana.

The beanie is one that he loves which we bought him back from Sweden. Its decorated with Moose and the Swedish flag.

After seeing the fountains, we carried on a short walk to The Brickpit, which as you would expect it is an old brick clay pit. It is home to an endangered species of frog and lots of waterfowl. It has an elevated observation walkway where a little fella can roam but not get lost. It was a lovely day and quite interesting to see it almost empty so that walking with a littlely was easy.

We get enormous pleasure from watching Alex's reactions to new places. I think he would wear that hat to bed if he could. He seems to have a hat fetish like his grandfather.

Just checking that everything is well made and safe.

The shoes are Crocs which are over size as he likes to just slip them on himself but of course they are heavy for him. He spent most of the day running everywhere and how he found the strength to run in the Crocs I don’t know. He did sleep very well that night!!!!
So did his Grandparents!!!

Long time, no see!

I knew it had been a while since sending a blog but I didn't realise that it had been so long. I feel that if nothing really exciting has happened it wont be of interest but as the family pointed out, what I feel is mundane and uninteresting may interest others so here we go again. I also had, on and off problems with Blogger, which were finally sorted by the family experts.

So what has happened since the end of February? The main event has been an extended overseas trip which took in England, Spain and Sweden. I took heaps of photos which have finally been sorted down to 1200. Don't panic, there will only be a few appearing here in blogs to follow at a later date.

We have just had an over night visit from our lovely little grandson so will get my hand in again by adding him here. He loves to help in the garden and will roam happily on his own for hours.

This seems to be working OK so will post and if all is well will add some more.
