The new camera coincided with a stay over from Alex, who isn't keen on noisy garden machinery.

Early this month we had a surprise visit from old friends and neighbours, Glenda and John who now live in Port Macquarie. They are just back from a working holiday in Singapore.

After Glenda and John came old friends from South Wales, here on holiday and to see their daughter who has moved to Sydney from New Zealand. Its was great to catch up with them, although it hasn't been long as we saw them last year in UK. Whilst taking them up into the mountains, we stopped at Springwood lookout and I was surprised at the changes taking place at the Penrith Lakes Scheme. We have been driving on the new road into Penrith for some time now but it seems so different when seen from a higher vantage point.

For some time now we have been worried about one of the big trees in the garden which has a crack in the fork of the trunk and long over hanging branches. Luckily a friends boyfriend is an arborist so he did the job for us. Very skillful to watch and not for the faint hearted.
