Latest News.

Our biggest, latest, news is that we are to be Grandparents again. Elin and Jim are expecting a baby boy at the end of May.  To say that we are excited is to put it mildly!!

At the moment we are in the midst of a deadly bush fire period. There are 144 bush fires currently burning in NSW with some of them out of control. Very high temperatures, strong winds and low humidity are making the fire fighters job a nightmare. There has been some loss of property but so far no loss of life in NSW.  In Tasmania its a very different story.  On the east coast there has been extremely heavy loss of property and a lot of people are yet unaccounted for as there is a lot of tourist movement in the state.

Locally, we are having a few days just over the 40C mark and not a drop of rain in sight.

 

The boys pumpkins are going well and I think its about time to pick them and put them into storage.

A little bit of Christmas.

Well, it's over and done with for another year but here's a few photos of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The candles are out, lit and awaiting the arrival of Santa. Alex and Ben are staying the night so that they can see Santa but they are getting anxious as Santa appeared to be running late.

Christmas morning and the boys are up early ready to head for home and see what Santa has left them.  They have a special arrangement with Santa, they wrote and told him that they wouldn't be home but could he please leave their presents as they had been good.

Back at home and their toy room has never been so tidy.  They must have been getting ready for lots of new toys.

Becky is still working on the decorating of Ben's room.  He now has a Dragon in one corner.
