Normally I would have gone in to the city for the NRMA Motofest but thought it would be a bit crowded with lots of walking for the little fella so we went up to Glenbrook to see the International Gnome Convention. There were gnomes, literally from all over the world and because they were low down Alex found them fascinating. Obviously there was more to the day but the Gnomes were the main attraction for Alex.

Other than this, very little happening that is really news worthy. Plenty of rain of course, which is lovely to see but it makes the grass grow!!
We had a re-occurrence of the flu type virus that we had in UK last year, I've been stung by paper wasps while working in the garden but worst of all, my beloved Fiji S7000 camera is going to have to be replaced. Its very temperamental, works OK some times and then not at all. Becky recently had one of her lenses break down and was without it for about 8 weeks and for the cost of the repairs she could have bought a new one, so I have come to the conclusion that it will be cheaper in the long run to replace the camera. I love this camera and am very loath to loose it but will probably replace it with its update, the S9600. I have contemplated a digital SLR but the current camera has done all that its been asked to do at a fraction of the cost of a SLR so why change. Will keep you posted.
