At the end of last month we borrowed a friends house up on the central coast at a lovely spot called Hawks Nest.
We have been a few times and still enjoy the peace and quiet with easy access to a number of nice beaches. Becky, Graham and the boys joined us.

This is Bens idea of a great holiday. Books over beach any time.
A lovely blossom and a hard working bee.
One day, instead of the beach we went a few kms North to see the moving sand dunes. Should be a good view from the top.
Lots of nothing in one direction except the Mungo Brush......
..... and a distant view of the sea in the other.
Broughton Island in the background,
A lovely peaceful spot alongside the Myall Lake.
Not very deep a this point.
The little ferry at Bombah Point.
At this spot heavy seas have washed the beach access away.
While we were away it was our wedding anniversary and we were treated to a lovely dinner at Tillermans, just across the bridge in Tea gardens. The boys enjoyed a special dinner out and champagne.
Could be a storm brewing. Just look at those clouds.
Heading to a family favourite, Jimmys Beach.
Jimmys Beach.
A sea monster at Jimmys!
Getting rid of all that sand and salt.
The main ocean beach and new surf watch tower.
Everyone swimming between the flags.
The rest of the beach was empty for many kms.

The best cup of coffee under the Surf Club.
A great few days away.
