A very overcast day with a bit of rain around.
The weather didn't matter much as we are staying in and preparing for our next big adventure, a train trip. Before we left home I had mentioned to Jim that we would like to see a little more of the country, preferably by rail as you do see more of the country this way even if it goes by very quickly. Jim has prepared everything for us, hotels and train tickets, even down to seat allocation. He's in the wrong business, he should be a travel agent!
We have borrowed a couple of small cases from Elin and Jim but they needed a bit of repair work to the wheels so this kept me busy for a while.
We did a bit of shopping locally and Di cooked a Cottage Pie for dinner.
We got our packing finished and had a reasonably early night as we have to be up early in the morning.
