It rained overnight, quiet heavily at times but everyone seemed to sleep through it, except me.
I got up early and sat outside, undercover, on the deck and watched the world go by.
Next up was Jim who went for an early morning dip, complete with shampoo!
Water temperature was 18C.
I went for a walk to the top of the island, in the rain, before everyone else got up. After a nice breakfast, Ulf, David, Elin and Jim went fishing.
Mia took Di and myself for a guided tour of the island. We had a good long walk.
Some of the other homes on the island.
It really is a beautiful place.
This may be the only house that is lived in all year round.
A nice light lunch......
... a bit of R & R for some and a power nap for others.
After lunch, Jim and David went fishing again of the opposite side of the island.
Then they tried back on this side as the weather deteriorated.
Jim finally caught a big one! Not sure what it was or if we could eat it. This was the second catch of the day. The first one was a big pike but it got away.
Ulf got in touch with one of his fishing mates and it turns out that its a fish called a Brax and not good for eating.
By the time we found this out the fish had been on the BBQ for a while.
Sure enough, lots of bones and not good eating but still a triumphant catch.
