I woke up to another fantastic day and sat outside for a while watching the big boats go by. Went for an early morning walk and came across a couple of natives.
After breakfast some of us headed off to climb to the highest point on the island.
We climbed through a magical landscape.
The summit with a great view over some of the other islands.
David spotted this red squirrel on the way down. I haven't seen a red one for many years as the grey ones seem to have taken over, especially in the UK.
It really is a beautiful spot.
Some of us took the easier morning exercise !
Just a little something that Mia whipped up very quickly.
But it didn't last for very long.
Its a hard life but the boys are willing to give it a try, someone has to!!
We have had a lazy few days with lots of good food and great company.
We left the island late afternoon to head back to a busier way of life.
We got back to the apartment at about 1830 and the weather forecast for tomorrow looks bad so not sure about our balloon flight.
Jim and I rode the bikes to get some groceries but also a few hardware items. Nuts and bolts for one of the travel cases and some wood glue.
