June 3rd 2017
We woke to a warmer day, by local standards, but a nice and sunny one.
Jane had a day off from work so after a nice breakfast of scrambled egg we headed into Shrewsbury for a bit of retail therapy.
We parked down by the river and walked up the steep hill that is Wyle Cop. Just of picture on the left I spotted a nice Panama type hat in a secondhand shop and encouraged by Jane I spent the huge amount of 5 UKP.
The Golden Cross on Princess Street.
Clever play on words!
The Square with the Old Market Hall on left.
Very old Sundial on the end of the Old Market Hall.
Lovely old black and whites throughout the city.
A different hole in the wall!
Not the usual buskers instrument but beautiful to listen to.
We called at a very nice nursery on the way back to Clive.
Lovely countryside.
A bit of afternoon tea.
Emma arrived by train from Glasgow and John from Birmingham. It was great to see them both and share a great meal following a Skype link up with Elin and Jim.
