Travelling 2016 - Day 4

Another very cool morning with overcast skies.

We had an early morning link up with Becky via Skype.

We drove out to visit some of our favourite places, the first being Montgomery in the Welsh border country, where Di spent a lot of her childhood.

We walked up the very steep hill to the castle ruins to look over the town and countryside.

From Montgomery we drove on through beautiful countryside to Ludlow.

I climbed the 200 steps to the top of  St.Laurence's Church tower.

We arrived back at Clive by late afternoon where Jane made a lovely Salmon dinner.
