Travelling 2016 - Day 3

Jane and Glynn went off to work early this morning and we were left to unpack and sort ourselves out. We had a good nights rest and woke with a short list of things to do.

Had to change the date and time on my camera so that the records would be accurate.
Fired up the laptop and linked into the WiFi. so that we can now catch up with emails and Skype etc.

Nice day but a bit cool by our standards.

A local squirrel came to welcome us.

Look at the beautiful details in that tail.

We drove into Shrewsbury, managing to remember the way as we don't have SatNav. We parked at the bottom of the town, behind Tanners, and had a hard time working out the car park pay system. Not cheap at 3UKP for just 2 hours.

Just took this photo for our friend Val who we will be meeting up with later in South Wales.

Shrewsbury is a lovely town which is also a joy to visit.

I bought a new card for the mobile phone before Di dragged me into one of her favourite stores, Mark and Spencers. We just had to buy some pork pies but sadly they didn't taste as well as they do in our memories. We also made a trip into Boots where Di stocked up on some of her favourite makeup and loads of free samples.

All this walking and spending money tired us out so back to Janes for a little nap before taking Jane and Glynn to a local pub for dinner.
