Its Elins Birthday!!!
The best present she, and we, could have was that Johan was still in bed at 09.00. Must have been all that socializing with his second cousins that he did yesterday.
As a result we had a slow start to the day, which was nice and sunny and a bit warmer than late.
We decided to have lunch at Battleground Farm.

Johan was interested in the cows but spent most of his time dropping stones through the hole in the middle of the table where the umbrella stands.
Johan enjoying the steps.
We ate outside as the weather was nice. Johan got lots of enjoyment from taking the peas off his plate, putting them on the table then squashing them with the sauce bottle.
Elin finished off her meal with her favorites, scones with jam and cream.
After lunch we went for a walk through the fields to see Battlefield Church.
Elin and Jim went into Shrewsbury for a celebratory birthday dinner, Elin was also looking for a new dress as they are going to a wedding when they got back to Sweden.
We babysat and Johan was as good as gold, as long as we kept his watering can full.
Jane's pot plants won't need water for some time!
I dont think Johan even noticed that his parents werent around. He was great company.
Elin and Jim had a good time and she did find that dress.
