A slow morning as its Saturday. We were again treated to Glynns cooking with a nice breakfast of bacon and scrambled eggs. Jane went off to get her hair done as she and Glynn are going to a party tonight.
We left about 11.30 and with the help of Gladys, the SatNav lady, found our way to Wednesbury to visit Dinah. Ivor was visiting his Mom while Mal was seeing hers. Had a good time catching up with Dinah and a bit of lunch when Mal arrived. Sad to say but Dinah seemed frail but there again we are all getting that bit older. We drove back to Clive via Bridgnorth.
We got back from our travels just in time to catch Jane and Glynn heading off to their party.
We read on the notice board in the local PO that a couple of special steam trains were going to be passing through this evening. I drove to the local station at Yorton, opposite the Railway Inn, and found just one other steam enthusiast waiting. Well we waited and waited but no trains arrived. Later we were told by someone on the platform that the steam trains had gone through the station 30 mins ahead of schedule. Doh!
