Holiday 2012 - Day 15

We woke to a bitterly cold and wet day.

Temperaure in Shrewsbury .... 8C

Temperature in Nth. Richmond (winter) .... 27C

Temperature in Stockholm .... 20C

Why are we here?

Everyone keeps saying, you should have been here a few weeks ago.

We drove into Shrewsbury to do a bit of shopping and have a look around this lovely town.

The River Severn is very high at the English Bridge as a result of some heavy rains.

As we walked from the car park alongside the river, taking a short cut through the car park of Tanners Wines, I spotted this Nissan Figaro. I just had to take a photo for Alex as its the same car used by Sarah Jane Smith in the Dr Who series, of which Alex is an avid fan.

The old Market Hall which now houses a cafe and small cinema.

Beautiful Black and Whites everywhere. One of our favourite book shops with a very good shoe shop next door.

On the way back to Clive we called in at the Farm Shop at Battlefield 1403 for more shopping and to buy some postcards.

We ended the day with Jane taking us to a very quaint local pub, really a converted house, called the Railway Inn.
