We woke yet again to a cold, 8C, and rainy morning.
By the time we had breakfast and were ready to go out the rain had become light but it was still wet everywhere.
We went to visit Nantwich, a very nice old black and white town. There was a bit of excitement in the town as the Police Forensic Unit were looking at excavations near St Marys church.
The Town Crier was out and about.
Johan doing his impression of being a bored little boy.
Until he found the puddles and suddenly got a new lease of life.
Black and whites everywhere.
It looks as though Jim is feeling the cold and damp.
Johan and Nanna checking out the river.
We were passed by a lady on an electric scooter which Johan found fascinating and was prepared to follow her for miles.
Johan's introduction to ice cream.
It may have been cold but he really enjoyed it.
When we got back to Clive we found a large hole in the back garden where the rain, over a period of time, had washed soil and fill from around a drain connection.
We ended off a nice day out with dinner at the Fox and Hounds at nearby Shawbury.
