We had a good nights rest although we both woke at 0530. Not sure why but could have been our out of phase time zones. It definitely wasn't due to it getting light early as the day was very overcast and cool with a forecast of rain later in the day. We packed up and made ready to change rooms to one on the ground floor. This was a result of us extending our stay and our upstairs room being pre-booked. Another terrific breakfast and then a walk in to the city, feeding the squirrels on the way.
We topped up the mobile phone card and then spent some time at an internet cafe. Not only did we get into the warm but we could use the laptop as there is no WiFi in the B&B.
Had a walk around, mainly window shopping and trying to keep out of the blast of cold air that funnels through these old narrow streets.
The Minster dominates the city. Its always visible over the surrounding buildings.
