Happy Birthday to me!!
Nice breakfast, packing and then on our way once again.
Today we are heading South to spend a couple of days with Mal and Ivor in Droitwich. We will be breaking the journey somewhere near Shrewsbury, one of our favourite towns.
When we booked accommodation on line it was for a place at Hamer Hall and when we arrived we knew that we had been there before. The motel is attached to the Bridgewater Hotel. We didnt realize how close we were to Janes house in Clive but didnt contact them as we know how busy they both are during the week.
As we had been traveling for a while we needed to find somewhere to wash a few clothes.
Went on-line and found a place called The Laundry Room, on the Hereford road out of Shrewsbury.
It was on the other side of the town but well worth the trip. Very clean shop with lots of machines and dryers all looked after by a very nice young lady. The shop was fitted out with two big armchairs, a couple of sofas and tea or coffee available. A very unexpected and nice experience.
