It rained very heavily yesterday evening and all night.
This morning the rain cleared in time for us to go for a walk and do some shopping. The first stop was at Willeys and then on to the Stadsmission for fika. We then walked to the other end of town and visited Ahlens store where we bought a set of kitchen weighing scales.
After lunch I had a walk, about 20mins, to the hardware store and bought a hammer drill and a circular saw for Jim. At least now he has a useful drill and saw of his own which should make jobs around the apartment easier. Once back at the apartment, I wired up the twin lights above the dinning table and, using the new hammer drill, fixed them to the ceiling. Looks good!
Di cooked tea and we all sat down to hamburgers and chips. Great!!
