Holiday 2012 - Day 44

It rained overnight but it was a lovely morning.
Jim cooked his usual weekend breakfast, the major part of which was nice crispy bacon, which we helped him eat.

After breakfast we had a little walk along the creek and found that work was progressing on the second bridge with the deck timbers being laid.

This is the view from the rear balcony towards the creek. Its starting to green up nicely.

The nice timber balcony all ready for a bit of sun worship.

Later in the morning we all went looking for microwave ovens as its the one thing that didn't come with the apartment. We went to a store near the old apartment and Jim got prices and took some measurements to make sure it would fit in the existing kitchen cupboards. Jim placed an order and we will pickup next weekend.

We moved on for our first visit to Mio for a look around, very nice store, where had lunch.

Back at the apartment, Jim and myself dismantled and moved some storage cupboards from the hallway near our bedroom. The larger of the two was relocated in the hall near the front door and the second one was put in our bedroom. It sounds very easy but took a lot longer than it did to type it!!
The area where the cupboards stood originally will need some work doing to it, extending skirting boards, filling and painting etc.

Jim made Tapas for dinner, Johan went to bed and then we sat down to watch world cup soccer on TV between Germany and Portugal. It was a very entertaining game which Germany won 1-0.
