A Swedish Odyssey......

Wednesday 4th July. Unfortunately even on holiday the washing has to be done. All apartment blocks have a central laundry area that has to be pre-booked with your own security code number which is part of your room key tag. The laundry is very well equipped with three washing machines.....


.. a drying cabinet, tumble dryers and an ironing machine.


This is the outside balcony to E&J's apartment, which is towards the end, over looking Luma Park.

We left the apartment about midday and got on the main commuter line heading North of the city to Sollentuna. When we stopped at Central Station, Jim got on the train. He had to go into work for a few hours. At Sollentuna we split up, Jim went to fetch Mia's car while we did some shopping, mainly at the Chemists again for cold and flu things.

Its a nice area and Mia has a very nice apartment. We went to a local Ikea store, well you have to when you have come to Sweden, where E&J spent up big. Unfortunately they forgot the only had a small car and they had a real job getting the new ironing board in the boot.




We had a lovely evening and meal with Mia and Ulf and met one of Ulf's daughters, Jessica.
