A Swedish Odyssey......

Monday 2nd July. Another beautiful sunny day. According to our guides, E&J, we are going to do touristy things today. I thought that's what we had been doing!!
We went into the city via tram and train, walked across the city and went on a waterway cruise that started near City Hall.
Being so warm and sunny, lots of people were out sunbathing alongside the waterways.

This unassuming beautiful old white building is the home of the Prime Minister. No guards, no fuss, no bother.

After lunch we had a walking tour of the Old Town and then a sight seeing bus tour of the city.

On the way out of the city we walked up to an open air pub on the heights over looking the cruise terminal at Stadsgardsleden.

To round off the day we did a bit of shopping before Jim made us a great pizza and we watched Dr Who. A very full day and a great one!
