Today we have arranged to meet up with an old friend for lunch, John Allan, at his home in Brewood. Well actually opposite his home, in his local pub.
We had a walk around the village and along the towpath and came across this narrowboat, which was for sale, which is owned by New Zealanders. Lucky people!
This sign on a hotel wall bought back happy memories. Its the logo for the Cyclist Touring Club, of which I was a member, and its over a metre in diameter. I haven't seen one for many years.

The Admiral Rodney. Good lunch and good catching up. Spent the rest of the day getting ready for the arrival of Elin and Jim who are coming across from Sweden to stay with us for a couple of weeks.
