Last Year ......

Friday 1st June. We are still feeling very much under the weather so are staying close to home. We went to see Jane and family and went to a big new shopping centre near Solihull, called Touchwood. We could have been in any shopping centre, anywhere in the world, as they all appear to be built to a common design, only the people are different.

Had a nice pub lunch near Knowle.


John, Di, Jane, Glynn and Emma. The kids are really very good company.



Spent the rest of the day with the family, finally watching a World Soccer match on TV between England and Brazil which ended in a one all draw.

Saturday 2nd June. A very nice warm day. Another quiet day. In the morning I went to Dartmouth Park to meet up with the Sandwell Model Boat Club. Unfortunately no one told me that they were putting on a display at West Park in Wolverhampton, where we will be tomorrow.
