Last Year ......

Thursday 7th June. We drove across to Bridgnorth to meet up with an old school friend of Di's, Dave Tonks and his wife Mavis. Had a nice lunch with them and then headed up to High Town for a wander around. Di now has asthma and my cold is getting worse but we will soldier on.



Visited St.Leonard's church and met the church cat.

Lots of effort has gone into beautifying the town with hanging baskets and window boxes. We had dinner before going to the theatre at the Habit in High Town. Unfortunately there was a power failure but we still enjoyed a nice dinner by candle light.


The roof in the foreground is that of the Theatre on the Steps. Mounted on the other side of the building there is a web cam that looks down onto the river bridge. With the aid of this camera I can see the differing weather conditions and river levels from the other side of the world.
