Saturday the 2nd July
A really lazy morning. There was very heavy rain overnight and we slept in until 08:45 mainly due to a late night watching the soccer Euro cup.
We spent the day with Elin, Jim and the boys which included a trip to Willeys. I walked with Henry in the stroller while the rest of the family went in the car.
I tried out Jims newly electrified bike. Its great if a little strange. It has plenty of power but no noise.
Another nice day just doing family things.
Jim cooked a dinner of pulled pork after which we ended up in front of the TV. Jim has downloaded lots of episodes of Grand Design for us and we watched a very interesting one from New Zealand. We also watched the soccer match between Germany and Italy but it ended in a long drawn out penalty shootout. It got boring so we walked home to find that they were still trying to get a decisive score. It ended with a total of nine penalty shootouts. Unbelievable!
