25th March 2015.
The 25th was Jane's last day on the East coast of Australia.
We have had a great time over the last two weeks with lots of talk and laughter.
Jane met her Australian second cousins for the first time who immediately fell in love with her, particularly Ben.
Today we are taking her into Sydney Central Station to catch the Indian Pacific across to Perth where she will stay for a week before flying out to Hong Kong to meet up with the rest of her family. Lots of last minute panics as she tries to force clothes into an already bulging suitcase.
We always seemed too busy to get the little yellow machine out on the road but at least we can pose.
Arriving at the luggage check-in at Central Railway Station.
One of the two locos that will head the train.
The train consists of two locos and twenty six carriages. Each of the locos weighs 132 tonnes, I wonder what the total weight would be.
We have had a terrific start to the year with visits from both of our nieces, Jane and Louise.
Louise and Andrew arrived in February, followed by Jane in March.
When we visit England we see the family for short periods of time but having them stay with us here for extended periods has been great.
