The Landing!

4th December 2013

This was THE big day!  The arrival of our little Swedish family at Sydney International Airport. It has been a long day for us with lots of final preparations including picking up the hired people mover to get to and from the airport.  The fight didn't arrive until late, 2230, so we drove to Beckys first then they followed us to the airport. It was to be a late night for Alex and Ben but they both had an afternoon nap to prepare.

Waiting, waiting.  We arrived just as the plane landed and the tension mounted as we had to wait for nearly an hour before seeing the family.

If they had turned around they would have seen Auntie Elin and Uncle Jim coming down the ramp from the next gate.

 Here they are at long last. Tired and happy to be on the ground after such a long flight.

 Johan was a little over awed and quiet to start with, but that soon changed.

Our family reunited again after three years.

Now its all into the cars and head for the hills.  We had intended to call in to Beckys on the way home but it was getting really late so we went straight home.
