Sorry about the break in transmission but I have been working away for the last couple of days. I had a very early start to drive up to Narrabri, about 6 hours northwest, into cattle country. This country still fascinates me as it changes from hills to mile after mile of flatland's with the constant changing colours.
While I was away I received the photo above from Jim. He had made up a rail for Johan's bed to prevent him from rolling out. He made a good job of it, choosing a nice piece of western red cedar from my stock. Actually this particular piece of timber was part of our original kitchen bench surround.
There was a bit of drama in the household while I was away. Elin had some stitches from her recent surgery that didn't appear to be dissolving as she was led to believe so Di took her to our doctors practice where she was actually seen by my own doctor. The stitches were quickly removed. Unfortunately while getting out of the car, Johan fell and grazed his knees. From what I heard, he got very special attention from two nurse.
Although he doesn't look like it, Henry did say that he had missed me.
I couldn't get Johan to look away from the TV.
Elin and Jim suggested that we take some photos that we could use as Christmas cards so we headed down to a beach on the river. Unfortunately it wasn't as photogenic as it was the last time we were there as flood waters had changed the course of the river and moved a lot of the sand banks.
We will have to wait and see how Jim's photos turned out.
After the photo shoot and a bit of lunch our visitors headed off to Becky and Grahams for a couple of days so that the cousins could have a good time. Its nice and quiet here now, I wonder what havoc four little boys are causing at Becky's.

Good morning Australien! Great pics, John is really a professional with the camera! But you have to be careful with the kids!!! Poor Johan, can see his damaged knees! And Henry, whats on his head? Looks like a cow-hat :-)
Hope you all enjoy and have a great time. In Leksand we have our second snowstorm of the season today.
Love / CC and PG
