The deck looks even better on a nice day!
Di and Jim drove into Stockholm to buy meat, pies etc. from Taylors in Kungsholmen. On their return, Elin and Jim went to the local hardware store, while Johan had his morning nap, looking for ideas to finish off the front balcony. They came back with some panels of timber lattice to try at one end. These looked so good and did the job nicely so they went back and bought some more for the other end.
They also bought a small white metal round table and two chairs. A very satisfied customer!!
The same sort of panels fitted to the opposite end and thus doing away with the need for a gate. The whole area is a suntrap.
The front balcony from the footpath, complete with flower boxes. It will look perfect once the footpath is finished.
Went for a little walk and found that the second bridge over the creek had been completed but was yet to be opened.
