Holiday 2012 - Day 68

A nice sunny morning.  We all set out for the city by train and then took to tram to Strandvagen.  From here we took the ferry which would take us to the island of Fjaderholmama. The island, which we have visited before, is noted as an art and crafts centre.

Approaching the island.

First stop is to get some lunch.

There are the usual potters and painters but also woodworkers, metal workers, silversmiths etc.

This seat wasn't very comfortable.

Interesting metal grids on some footpaths. I suppose they stop erosion from the many feet that walk the island.

Spooky trees.

On the return trip and passing the water sculpture at Nacka.

Danvikshem.

Heading back to the city.

Passing the Vasa Museum.

The Vasa and Nordic Museums

The Royal Theatre.

We walked back through the city and caught the train back home, calling in at Marabouparken for some play time.
