Bits and Bobs.

Remembrance Day tribute with poppies on the sails of the Sydney Opera House

The best way to see the lovely blue flowers of the Jacaranda is against a dull sky.

It’s that time of year again, baking Christmas cakes.

They look and smell great, one for us and one for Becky and family. Just have to start dosing them with alcohol now.

The Super Full Moon was a bit of a non-event for us as we had a lot of cloud cover. If this photo is enlarged you can see the trees in the garden.

We did manage to see it later in the evening but there was still some light cloud around.

Eventually the cloud broke up and we could see the craters on the left hand side in silhouette.

Enlarge if possible.

we had one of those chopping boards, but be warned, it got a bit warpped and it got something stuck under the far edge and after sliding it back and forward a bit, we have some light scratched on the kitchen bench.
