Another month gone by!

A big milestone at the beginning of the month, it was Ben's 7th birthday.

His Nan made him a big chocolate cake and his Mom added the decoration.

He only wanted a small party, just two friends but also Alex and one of his friends.

The number of guests was limited so that everyone had their own computer monitor, which were all linked together for game playing. Everyone had a great time and the cake disappeared quickly.

We can only eat so many oranges and the trees still have plenty of fruit so the next best thing is fresh orange juice.

Out comes the three legged fruit picking ladder once again and nearly all the fruit picked.

Set up outside for the juicing process.

A lovely result. It was so nice that some of it never reached the fridge being used immediately! In all we had about six litres.

The weather is warming up, 31C today but down to 10C overnight. Very soon I wont have to worry about splitting wood.

I've noticed this vehicle in Richmond before but usually when I don't have my camera.

Now thats a real Kombi!!
