Catch Up.

As the title says, its catch up time once more.

We have had RAIN!!! 

Well actually it was just a few heavy showers but still very welcome.

We haven't seen a wet deck like this for months. May was also a month of record high temperatures for this time of year.

 

 It was so exciting to see the water dripping into the water butts. This was the first few drops.

This is how it is now, with the promise of some more showers later in the week.

 

A bit of rain makes a world of difference to the orange trees.

 

We actually made marmalade as we are down to our last few of jars of 2012 vintage. These few jars are of Lemon, Lime and Mandarin. Very tasty.

Like the new knives? I love them.  They were a birthday present from Becky and are fantastic, not heavy and very, very sharp.

Colourful and very good at slicing fruit skins for the marmalade.
