Bottling.

Saturday 19th April 2014.

At this time of year our Lime tree is full of fruit so it seemed appropriate to make a batch of lime juice concentrate.

The tree is so full of fruit that some of the branches are nearly touching the ground.  Once this seasons fruit is finished the tree will need to be drastically cut back. Loads of fruit were picked and then it was into the kitchen.

Some of the skin is used before the limes are cut and ready for juicing.

Some of the first juice extracted.

The juicer was a present from Elin and Jim and takes the hard work out of squeezing the juice out.

Now I know this may look strange but Johnnie Walker haven't come up with a new blended whisky, its just that this size of bottle fits nicely into the door of the fridge.

It looks strange in this bottle but it tastes great although it will need a lot of dilution. Not at all like the original contents.

If you havent guessed all ready, its Easter.  The big Easter egg was one of my presents from Becky.

Happy Easter everyone.
