A lot of heavy mixing went into these two cakes. One for us, a 280mm dia, and one for the boys and their parents, 230mm dia. I'm not sure if Ben and Alex really like them or its just the icing.

Cooked and looking good! In the next few weeks they will be spiced up with various alcohols and then iced.
These will be the last Christmas cakes to come out of this kitchen! Yes, at long last we are having a new kitchen installed so watch this space.
