As the weather forecast was for another day in the high 30C range, the NRMA Motofest in the city got a miss and we headed up into the 'cooler' Lower Blue Mountains for the 6th Annual Gnome Convention held in Glenbrook Park.
Gnomes everywhere!!
This is one of the larger models! Not quite as endearing as the little ones.
Even Gnomes have to work on a holiday.
It ws very hot and I know how these little fellas must have felt.
The local constabulary ensured that the event ran smoothly.
Not exactly a Gnome, just someone taking their ferret for a walk.

not the most usual australia day celebration but it looked like fun all the same. On a different topic, its 19:15 here on the 26th of Jan and it looks like we are not going to have an australian day baby born here.
