Bits and Bobs.

Its been nearly a month so here are a few snippets to keep you going.

Not a cat on a hot tin roof but a cat soaking up the heat on a log.

Something that we are very wary of in our garden. This is the nest of native bees which are very aggressive. They seem to build their nests in the shrubs that we need to cut back therefore we only see them at the last minute. The first awareness is when these little black things attack and they have a very painful sting which lasts for days. Obviously they go for exposed flesh, in my case, legs, arms and the face.

When we had our big tree cut down we thought that we had seen the last of these lovely big black cockatoos who roosted in it from time to time. We have since had visits from a flock of them and they seem to have adopted an adjacent big tree.

Its great to see them even if they only arrive as the light is fading.

It must be the tree lopping season. This tree was just over our back fence and in just a few hours it was nearly all gone.

They provided good entertainment for a morning.
