This is actually the first blog entry for the new year.
I have fallen behind but will endeavour to try and catch up. There is no excuse but can only put it down to being sooo busy with a mixture of visitors and work.

These photos were taken on New Years Eve. A lovely warm day so out into the garden.
As a result of little boys and Christmas presents we now have to spend time dodging water pistols. Well actually they are more like cannons and therefore I have no photos of them as water and cameras don't mix. When Alex and Ben are here its best to either run or grab a hose to retaliate.
Henry modeling Poppas new sun hat. I was going to mention that it was a cricket hat but then thought better of it. I could just say 5 nil and leave it at that.
Johan and Poppa enjoying the paddling pool. This is why its best to keep at a distance.
Johan enjoying a well earned Mini Magnum.
Henry enjoying a spell in the pool.
Once the boys were in bed, Jim set about cooking dinner for us all to celebrate New Years Eve. My contribution was to lay the table and pour the drinks.
Jim isn't the tidiest of chefs but he certainly produced a wonderful meal.
He also mixed up some fancy pre-dinner drinks.
Elin and Jim insisted that we dress for dinner so that deserved a photo. Unfortunately I couldn't get back in the frame before the camera went off. I can only put it down to Jim's drinks slowing me down.
It really was a wonderful meal in very good company. Thanks Jim.
It was then time to sit down and watch the fireworks on TV but the youngsters couldn't stand the pace and went to bed.
