It's a sure sign that Christmas is'nt far away when Di starts to make Christmas cakes.
Its heavy work mixing two big cakes at the same time but some of us are 'super heroes'.
Nanna and Alex mixing in their wishes. Alex has grown a lot lately but not this much, he is actualy standing on a stool.
Di lining one of the cake tins and giving away trade secrets on how to make the paper fit the side wall.

The level of wine in the glass has dropped due to the frustration when wrapping the outside of the tins and tying the paper in place. Far more than an extra pair of hands is needed.

Just out of the oven. They will now be wrapped in foil and only opened once a week to add a spoonful of spirits. Next big phase is the icing and decorating.
