Catch up time once again.
Since the last blog we have been busy, enjoying another blog which is all about the progress of our new Swedish grandson, painting the outside of the house, decorating inside and hosting overseas visitors. To catch up with Johan's progress, see here:- www.absolutjim.blogspot.com/

Alex has been giving me a hand with replacing gutters,
and assembling a new edge trimmer.Earlier in the month we went into Sydney with Alex as the Town Hall was open to the public for the day following extensive refurbishing.

Unfortunately the beautiful old building is getting over shadowed by modern buildings in the area.

Alex really enjoyed the underground moving footpath from the Domain car park up to Hyde park.......

....... with a stop off to have his photo taken in front of the Archibald Fountain in the park.

A cooling milkshake before being personally welcomed into the Town Hall......

....... by the Town Crier.

The building is very beautiful inside......

........with lots of stained glass.

I think Alex would make a very fine Lord Mayor.

Later Alex got to do what he loves best, read in the ABC shop.

Heading for home after a long day.

Lovely flowers sent for Di's birthday by our little Swedish family.

The verandah roof sheets have been removed, front and back, new gutters fitted and the painting is under way.
